Regular health checks are a great way to make sure little problems don’t turn into major ones. Our vets can pre-empt issues with skin, ears, teeth, heart and osteoarthritis before they can become severe and cause your pet pain or discomfort. We recommend a full physical exam every year, where you can also ask your vet about any concerns you may have regarding the well-being of your pet.
As our pets get older, blood tests are really important. Getting blood tests every year is just like us getting our yearly check ups with our GP. Yearly blood tests can warn us that a problem with kidneys or liver might be on the horizon before we see any clinical signs. This means we can treat your pet before there is too much damage done, and give them a longer, more enjoyable life.
